Take Action in the Historic Providence School Board Election on November 5

Vote for Your Providence School Board Representatives!

On Election Day, for the first time, Providence voters will have the opportunity to decide who represents them and their children on the Providence School Board. In 2022, voters approved a ballot question to create a partially elected, partially appointed school board. On November 5, non-partisan elections will be held for the first time to elect five board members, each representing one of Providence’s five regions—North, South, East, West, and Central—for a four-year term. The mayor will appoint the other five members for a three-year term.
